A Message from Our Co-Chairs
Aloha,
We are reaching out with great excitement to invite your support for Rooted to RYSE, our 2025 fundraiser and celebration, to be held on October 25 at Kākoʻo ʻŌiwi in Kāneʻohe. This uplifting evening will bring our community together under one goal: ending youth homelessness in Hawaiʻi and strengthening the support of our community.
This year, we’re proud to co-sign this invitation with someone who embodies the heart of RYSE, Kylé-Ann Bobo. Having experienced youth homelessness herself, Kylé-Ann navigated the RYSE program with remarkable determination and strength. After achieving stability, she chose to return to the organization that supported her, this time, as an Outreach Case Manager on our team. Her journey is proof of what’s possible when youth are met with care, consistency, and community.
We invite you to join us in our efforts to create brighter futures for our youth by sponsoring a table at this year’s Rooted to RYSE fundraiser. Gather your friends, colleagues, or company and take a seat at the table where change happens and lives grow. Your presence and support directly empower young people to access the stability, resources, and opportunities they deserve and need.
In addition to table sales, we’re also accepting exciting live and silent auction donations, including unique experiences (travel, adventure, or local getaways); culinary or wellness packages, gift cards or high-end retail items.
With federal funding facing increasing uncertainty, community support has never mattered more. Join us in growing something special, together we all RYSE.

Residential Youth Services & Empowerment (RYSE)
We can end youth homelessness.
Residential Youth Support & Empowerment (RYSE) is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 that services opportunity youth in Hawaii, through empowerment and personalized support. Youth, ages 14-24, are welcome for drop-in services from 8am – 8pm at the access center, seven days a week, and have access to safe and temporary living spaces specifically designed to address their unique needs.
Beyond shelter, RYSE offers a comprehensive range of services, including counseling and mentoring, education and life skills training, and case management and advocacy. RYSE is dedicated to helping youth overcome challenges, build resilience and achieve their full potential.
As a 501(c)3, we rely on the generous support of individuals, organizations, businesses, and grants to fund our programs. We are committed to transparency and accountability, ensuring that every donation we receive is maximized for impact.

Our Results
Since RYSE opened its doors in June 2018, we have continued to strive towards achieving our mission of eradicating youth homelessness in Hawaii and empowering young people to build a foundation for life-long well-being.
