Website Coordinator Position

Web Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a web coordinator on Oahu to perform general coordinator duties including making regular updates to our website, responding to and troubleshooting any website issues, and ensuring a smooth user experience.

Candidate should have a strong commitment to serve our Hawaii community. Hours are flexible, and this is currently a part-time WFH (10-15 hours a week) freelance role, so candidate should have their own equipment.

Qualifications:
-2+ year of web development experience
-1+ year WordPress front and back end design
-Associate’s degree (or equivalent work experience)

General Duties:
-Ensure that the RYSE website is functional, efficient, and current.
-Make all content/ page updates given by Communications Director in a timely manner.
-Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues in a timely manner.
-Create appropriate website content aligned with the organization’s strategy.
-Provide monthly data and analytics reports.
-Improve the user experience of the website regularly.
-Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
-Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites.
-Ensure that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures; identify and respond to all website security breaches.
-Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.
-Update HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly.
-Other duties as assigned.

Abilities:
-Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
-Must have strong communication skills.
-Powerfully independent work ethic.
-Proficiency with Google Analytics, WordPress, CRM software management
-Proficiency in Adobe/Photoshop software

-Community-based organizational work experience
