The holidays can be joyful, and they can be stressful. It’s important to take care of your personal well-being and mental health during this time. Did you know that 50% of mental illness begins by age 14, and 75% begin by age 24?
Addressing, diagnosing and treating mental illness is critical for youth to live a happy, hopeful life.
RYSE has a highly trained Behavioral Health team on site licensed to treat youth in multiple modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a talk therapy treatment that helps to identify and cope with specific challenges. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is also utilized, which focuses on growing four core skills- mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills.
In the coming weeks we will be sharing more about our Behavioral Health team and services. To learn more about adolescent mental health rates, signs, and treatment methods, click here.
